Hey… It’s over a month since I last posted here and much has happened in the meantime. So much, in fact, that I never really had time to sit down and write an entry for my blog. So here is one large entry to make up for a month of silence :-)

Let’s start with Section 47… Things got complicated quite soon after my last blog entry. I won’t go into any details and just say that I hope never to go through something like that again.

Another big thing (and much more pleasant) last month was a vacation with two good friends to a small village called Wernhout. We stayed in a very luxurious bungalow for a week and we had a real good time. We watched a couple of movies, played a lot of games (mostly Settlers of Catan and a card game called ‘rikken’ in Dutch… I don’t know if there’s an English name for it), went out to Antwerpen and Breda (two nearby cities), went bowling and swimming and played a round of miniature golf. Halfway through we drove back to Amsterdam because I had to pick up my Bachelor’s diploma. My parents, brother and sister also had a surprise gift for me… the Historical Scenarios I for the Settlers of Catan… so cool! We immediately put it to good use during the rest of our vacation :-) Too bad it was only one week… and too bad I had quite a lot of work to catch up on when I got back home…

Last week, I finished the two courses I followed at university for the last two months… Well, I finished them for the most part. For one course I had to do some homework assignments, and there are still two I can’t quite solve. I’ll take another look at them tomorrow. The other course was a practical one and I had to write a report for it. My supervisor took it home for the weekend and if he finds any blatant mistakes, I’m going to correct them tomorrow. At any rate, I’m going to hand in the final version tomorrow, so I’m almost done with it :-)

So… now you know what’s kept me occupied last month. Things should be quieter again from now on, so I’ll update this page more often. I’m also thinking about a new layout, but I have yet to start work on that. Anyway… I’ll keep y’all informed :-)
